Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting the daily clinical operations of the practice. This role includes performing patient assessments, reviewing and communicating lab results, assisting providers with procedures, and administering medications and treatments. The RN will play a key role in managing and monitoring patients receiving infusion therapy, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to established protocols. Additional responsibilities include educating patients, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with providers and staff to coordinate care.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Job Description

Clinical Care & Patient Support -Perform patient assessments, review laboratory results, and communicate findings to providers and patients. -Assist in developing and carrying out patient care plans in coordination with providers. Provide patient education on treatment, lab results, and follow-up care. Infusion Therapy & Procedures -Prepare, initiate, monitor, and discontinue infusion therapy, ensuring patient safety and comfort. -Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to clinical changes. -Assist providers with in-office procedures as needed. Clinical Operations & Documentation -Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). -Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations. -Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and support clinic flow.

Qualifications

Qualifications -Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico (required) -Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience. -Previous clinical experience in primary care, infusion therapy, or related healthcare setting preferred -Strong communication, patient education, and clinical assessment skills -Proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and maintaining accurate documentation -Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. -Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment -Collaborative team player with a patient-centered approach

Hours & Location

Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering a balanced work schedule for an outstanding work-life balance. All positions are in-person at our conveniently located office in Albuquerque, NM, where you will be part of a supportive and patient-focused environment.

Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant at Reform ABQ plays a crucial role in supporting our providers and ensuring a positive patient experience. This position involves direct patient care, clinical support, and administrative tasks to facilitate the efficient operation of the clinic. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Patient Care: -Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures, including taking vitals, preparing patients, and collecting specimens. -Administer injections, perform EKGs, and assist with other clinical tasks as directed by providers. -Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and post-care instructions. Clinical Support: -Prepare examination rooms before and after patient visits, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. -Perform medication check-ins and ensure all medications are logged, and payments are collected. -Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking medical supplies. Administrative Duties: -Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying patient information and updating electronic health records (EHR). -Schedule patient appointments and handle rescheduling or cancellations as needed. -Assist with billing tasks, including verifying insurance information and supporting the billing department with self-pay accounts. Team Collaboration: -Participate in weekly meetings with the office manager and other team members to review orders, billing updates, and clinic operations. -Support front desk and administrative staff as needed, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.

Qualifications

-Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting preferred. -Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to excellent patient service. -Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy clinical environment. -Current CPR certification is required.
